Rearview Monitor Mirror System Description

The rearview monitor mirror system consists of the rearview camera and the automatic dimming inside mirror with a built-in rearview monitor. When the transmission range switch is in R position, the rearview monitor is on, and the image of the rearview camera appears. Brightness of the rearview monitor changes automatically using the front-facing and rear-facing lux level sensors (A) for the automatic dimming inside mirror. There is a case that the brightness gets dimmed gradually when the rearview monitor turns on for a long time. The rearview monitor turns off, when the automatic dimming off switch (B) is pushed, or the transmission range switch is in other than R position.
