Second Row Seat Linkage Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the second row seat Second Row Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Disassemble the second row seat Second Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly.

3. Remove the second row seat-back cover.

4. Remove the bolts, then remove the seat-back frame (A).






5. Remove the TORX screws, then remove the left inner bracket cover (A).

6. Remove the TORX screw, then remove the left outer bracket cover (A). The left outer bracket cover is shown; the right outer bracket cover is similar.






7. Detach the wire tie (A), then release the slider cable (B) from the seat frame.






8. Remove the clip (A) and disconnect the slider cable (B), then remove the cable.






9. Assemble the seat-back and seat cushion in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:

- Make sure each cable is connected securely.
- Replace any damaged clips with new ones.
- If necessary, adjust the slider cable (A):
- Remove the clip (B)
- Adjust the inner cable adjuster to obtain a clearance within 0.5 mm (0.02 in) at the outer recline lever fitting (C) and the inner recline lever fitting (D). Reinstall the clip on the inner cable adjuster.
- Check the seat slide operation: When operating the third row seat access knob, the inner recline adjuster is unlocked first, the outer recline adjuster is unlocked next, then the seat-back is tilted forward and the seat is allowed to slide forward.
