REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove the cargo floor box lid.

2. Remove the four self-tapping screws that attach the cargo net bezel to the cargo floor box lid; discard the screws.

3. Remove the hook and loop tabs from the lid, and save the tabs and the screws.

4. Place the new lid on a clean, dry surface with the strap facing up and away from you.

5. From the center of the strap screw, measure to the left 162 mm. Using a pushpin, locate the hole under the carpet.

6. Carefully cut the carpet around the pre-drilled hole.

7. Remove the screw that attaches the strap to the lid; discard the strap and the screw.

8. Loosely attach the bezel to the lid using one of the

4 x 16 mm screw-washers. Do not tighten the screw.

9. Holding the bezel parallel to the hinges, use the holes in the bezel to locate and mark the remaining three holes.

10. Carefully remove the bezel from the lid.

11. Remove the carpet around the pre-drilled holes.

12. Using the centerline of the outboard screws on the hinge as a guide, on the right (curved) side, measure from the edge of the hinge 65 mm up and right 80 mm. Use a push pin to locate the pre-drilled hole in this area.

13. Attach one of the hook and loop tabs removed in step 3 to the pre-drilled hole from step 12 using one of the original self-tapping screws.

14. Using the centerline of the outboard screws on the hinge as a guide, on the left (straight) side, measure up from the edge of the hinge 100 mm up. Use a push pin to locate the pre-drilled hole in this area.

15. Attach the remaining hook and loop tab to the pre-drilled hole from step 14 using the original self-tapping screws.

16. Attach the bezel to the lid using the 4 x 20 mm screws in the outboard holes and the remaining 4 x 16 mm screw in the other inboard hole.

17. Install the label on the latch.
