Navigation display does not open or opens part way

1. Press the Open/Close button.

Does a beep sound?
YES - Check the navigation display unit for foreign objects. If there are none, substitute a known-good navigation display unit and recheck. If the problem is repaired, replace the original navigation display unit. Service and Repair

NO - Remove the navigation display unit and check for loose connections to the display. If the connections are OK, substitute a known-good navigation display unit Service and Repair, and recheck. If the problem is repaired, replace the navigation display unit. Service and Repair
