Carpet Replacement
Special Tools Required
- KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014*

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.
- Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim pieces.
1. Remove these items:
- Front seats, both sides Front Seat Removal/Installation
- Rear seat assembly Rear Seat Removal/Installation
- Front door sill trim, both sides Service and Repair
- Rear door sill trim, both sides Service and Repair
- B-pillar lower trim, both sides Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas
- Kick panel, both sides Service and Repair
- Center console Center Console Removal/Installation
- Dashboard center lower cover Dashboard Center Lower Cover Removal/Installation
- Rear seat leg guide cover Rear Seat Leg Guide Replacement
2. Detach the hooks (A), then remove the footrest plate (B).
3. Remove the nut, and release the clip using a 6 mm socket wrench, then remove the footrest (A).
4. Remove the carpet (A).
-1 Remove the clips.
-2 Pull back the rear passenger's area of the carpet.
-3 Release the Velcro fastener (B), then pull back the carpet from under the dashboard.
-4 Pull both seat wire harnesses (C) out through the slit in the carpet.

5. If necessary, remove the screw, then remove the tie-down hook (A) from each side.
6. Install the carpet in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Slip the slit in the carpet over the hooks on the rear heater upper duct.
- Push the clips into place securely.
