Front Seat Frame Replacement - Passenger's Seat

Do the front passenger's weight sensor initialization Programming and Relearning after front passenger's seat frame replacement.

NOTE:

- If the side airbag has deployed, replace the seat frame and related parts with new ones Service and Repair.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Apply oil to the pivot areas of the slide locks.
- Apply multipurpose grease to the sliding areas of the seat tracks.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Remove these items:

- Front seat-back cover/pad Front Seat-back Cover Replacement
- Front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
- ODS unit ODS Unit Replacement
- Front seat belt buckle Front Seat Belt Replacement

3. Detach the clip, then remove the recline inner covers (A) and the side airbag module holder (B) from the seat frame (C).






4. Remove the bolts, and release the seat cushion springs (A) from the hooks (B), then remove the seat cushion frame (C).





5. Remove the front seat weight sensors Service and Repair.

6. If necessary, remove the bushing (A, B) from the seat frame (C).





7. Install the seat frame in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the seat wiring harnesses are routed properly and are not pinched.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
