EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EGR Pipe Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front splash shield Front Splash Shield Replacement.

3. Remove the EGR pipe mounting nuts (A).





4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Remove the EGR pipe mounting bolts (A).





6. Remove the EGR pipe (B) and the gaskets (C).

Installation

1. Install the EGR pipe (A) with new gaskets (B), and tighten the EGR pipe mounting bolts (C).





2. Raise the vehicle on a lift Service and Repair.

3. Tighten the EGR pipe mounting nuts (A).





4. Install the front splash shield Front Splash Shield Replacement.
