Glove Box Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Glove Box





1. Remove the bolts (A).





2. Release both glove box stops (A) by pushing them in, then let the glove box (B) hang down.





3. Detach the glove box damper hook (A), then remove the glove box (B).

2. Glove Box Lock Cylinder





1. Remove the glove box lock cylinder trim (A).





2. Remove the retainer (A).





3. Remove the glove box lock cylinder (A).

3. Glove Box Damper





1. Detach the hooks (A), then pull out the glove box damper (B).

4. Glove Box Striker





1. Remove the screws (A), then remove the glove box striker (B).

Installation

1. Glove Box Striker





1. Install the glove box striker (A), then install the screws (B).

2. Glove Box Damper





1. Install the glove box damper (A). Make sure the hooks (B) snap into place securely.

3. Glove Box Lock Cylinder





1. Install the retainer (A) in its slot.





2. Install the glove box lock cylinder (A). Push the lock cylinder into place securely until the retainer snaps into place.





3. Install the glove box lock cylinder trim (A).

4. Glove Box





1. Install the glove box (A), then install the glove box damper hook (B).





2. Install the bolts (A).
