Door Lock Switch Test

Removal

1. Front Door Power Window Switch Panel





1. Carefully pry out on the notch (A) in the power window switch panel (B) with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips (C) and the hooks (D). Disconnect the connectors (E), then remove the power window switch panel.

2. Front Door Power Window Switch Panel - Passenger's Side





1. Carefully pry out on the notch (A) in the power window switch panel (B) with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips (C) and the hooks (D). Disconnect the connector (E), then remove the power window switch panel.

Test

1. Driver's Door Lock Switch - Test









1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, the driver's door lock switch is faulty; replace the power window master switch (A).

2. Front Passenger's Door Lock Switch - Test









1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch according to table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, the passenger's door lock switch is faulty; replace the front passenger's power window switch (A).

Installation

1. Front Door Power Window Switch Panel - Passenger's Side





1. Connect the connector (A), then install the power window switch panel (B). Make sure the clips (C) and the hooks (D) snap into place securely.

2. Front Door Power Window Switch Panel





1. Connect the connectors (A), then install the power window switch panel (B). Make sure the clips (C) and the hooks (D) snap into place securely.
