Ceiling Light Removal, Installation, and Test

Removal

NOTE: Step 1 shows removing the vehicle without RES, step 2 shows removing the vehicle with RES.

1. Ceiling Light (without RES)





1. Turn the ceiling light switch OFF.

2. Carefully pry off the lens (A).

3. Remove the bulb.

4. Remove the ceiling light (B).

5. Disconnect the connector.

2. Ceiling Light (with RES)





1. Turn the ceiling light switch OFF.

2. Carefully pry off the lenses (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver.

3. Remove the bulbs.

4. Remove the ceiling light (B).

5. Disconnect the connector.

Test

NOTE: Step 1 shows testing the vehicle without RES, step 2 shows testing the vehicle with RES.

1. Ceiling Light - Test (without RES)









NOTE: When doing the ceiling light test, install the bulb correctly.

1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb or the ceiling light (A).

2. Ceiling Light - Test (with RES)









NOTE: When doing the ceiling light test, install the bulbs correctly.

1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb or the ceiling light (A).

Installation

NOTE: Step 1 shows installing the vehicle with RES, step 2 shows installing the vehicle without RES.

1. Ceiling Light (with RES)





1. Connect the connector.

2. Install the ceiling light (A).

3. Install the bulbs.

4. Carefully install the lens (B).

2. Ceiling Light (without RES)





1. Connect the connector.

2. Install the ceiling light (A).

3. Install the bulb.

4. Carefully install the lens (B).
