Map Light: Testing and Inspection
Front Individual Map Light Removal, Installation, and Test
Removal
NOTE: Step 1 shows removing the vehicle without moonroof, step 2 shows removing the vehicle with moonroof.
1. Front Individual Map Light (without moonroof)
1. Turn the front individual map light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry off the lenses (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver.
3. Remove the bulbs.
4. Remove the front individual map light (B).
5. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Front Individual Map Light (with moonroof)
1. Turn the front individual map light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry off the lenses (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver.
3. Remove the bulbs.
4. Remove the front individual map light (B).
5. Disconnect the connectors.
Test
NOTE: Step 1 shows testing the vehicle without moonroof, step 2 shows testing the vehicle with moonroof.
1. Front Individual Map Light - Test (without moonroof)
NOTE: When doing the individual map light test, install the bulb correctly.
1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb or the individual map light (A).

NOTE: When doing the individual map light test, install the bulb correctly.

Installation
NOTE: Step 1 shows installing the vehicle with moonroof, step 2 shows installing the vehicle without moonroof.
1. Front Individual Map Light (with moonroof)
1. Connect the connectors.
2. Install the front individual map lights (A).
3. Install the bulbs.
4. Carefully install the lenses (B).

1. Connect the connectors.
2. Install the front individual map light (A).
3. Install the bulbs.
4. Carefully install the lenses (B).
