Washer Fluid Level Switch Test

Removal

1. Right Front Inner Fender As Needed





1. Remove the bolt (A), the screws (B), and the clip (C, D, E) securing the front inner fender (F), then remove the front inner fender as needed.

2. Washer Fluid Level Switch





1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remover the washer fluid level switch (A).

NOTE: Fluid may flow out of the opening.

Test

1. Washer Fluid Level Switch - Test





1. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 in each float position:

* There should be continuity when the float is down.

* There should be no continuity when the float is up.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the washer fluid level switch (A).

Installation

1. Washer Fluid Level Switch





1. Inspect the gasket (A); replace it if it is distorted or stays compressed.

2. Install the washer fluid level switch (B) with the gasket.

3. Connect the connector.

2. Right Front Inner Fender As Needed





1. Install the front fender (A), then install the bolt (B), the screws (C), and the clips (D, E, F). Make sure the clips snap into the place securely.
