Fuel Fill Door Opener Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Front Door Sill Trim





1. Detach the hooks (A) and the tabs (B) from the kick panel (C) and the B-pillar lower trim (D), and pull up the front door inner sill trim (E) by hand to detach the clips (F), then remove the trim.

2. Front Door Opening Seal As Needed





1. Pull out the front door opening seal (A) from the trim hooks (B) around the front door opening flange as needed.

3. Kick Panel





1. Pull out the front door opening seal (A) as needed from the kick panel hooks and the door opening flange.

2. Pull back the kick panel by hand to detach the clips (B), then remove the driver's side kick panel (C).

4. Fuel Fill Door Opener





1. Remove the bolts (A), then remove the fuel fill door opener/cable (B).

2. Disconnect the fuel fill door opener cable (C) from the opener (D).

Installation

1. Fuel Fill Door Opener





1. Connect the fuel fill door opener cable (A) to the opener (B).

2. Install the fuel fill door opener/cable (C), then install the bolts (D).

2. Kick Panel





1. Install the driver's side kick panel (A). Make sure the clips (B) snap into place securely.

2. Install the front door opening seal (C).

3. Front Door Opening Seal As Needed





1. Install the front door opening seal (A). Make sure the seal is installed securely into the hooks (B).

4. Front Door Sill Trim





1. Install the front door inner sill trim (A). Make sure the clips (B), the hooks (C), and the tabs (D) snap into place securely.
