ECON Switch Removal, Installation, and Test

Removal

1. Driver's Dashboard Panel Assembly





1. Carefully pry out the driver's dashboard panel assembly (A) with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips (B).

2. Disconnect the connector (C), then remove the driver's dashboard panel assembly.

2. ECON Switch





1. Remove the ECON switch (A).

3. ECON Switch Bulb





1. Remove the rear cover (A).

2. Remove the front cover (B).

3. Remove the ECON switch bulb (C).

Test

1. ECON Switch - Test









NOTE: When doing the ECON switch test, install the bulb correctly.

1. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

2. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the ECON switch (A).

Installation

1. ECON Switch Bulb





1. Install the ECON switch bulb (A).

2. Install the front cover (B).

3. Install the rear cover (C).

1. Install the ECON switch (A).

3. Driver's Dashboard Panel Assembly





1. Connect the connector (A), then install the driver's dashboard panel assembly (B). Make sure the clips (C) snap into place securely.
