Service Information

CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Vehicle - Lift

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.

2. Front Wheel





1. Remove the center cap (A).

2. Remove the front wheel.

3. Splash Shield

1. Remove the splash shield (A).





4. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor Cover





1. Remove the CVT driven pulley pressure sensor cover.

5. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor





1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the CVT driven pulley pressure sensor (A) and the sealing ring (B).

Installation

1. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor





1. Install the CVT driven pulley pressure sensor (A) and a new sealing ring (B).

2. Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary.

3. Connect the connector.

2. CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Sensor Cover





1. Install the CVT driven pulley pressure sensor cover.

3. Splash Shield

1. Install the splash shield (A).





4. Front Wheel





1. Install the front wheel.

NOTE: Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces between the brake disc and the inside of the wheel.

2. Install the center cap (A).
