Output Shaft (Countershaft) Speed Sensor Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Vehicle Lift

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.

2. Front Engine Under Cover Plate





1. Remove the front engine under cover plate (A).

3. Output Shaft (Countershaft) Speed Sensor





1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor (A).

Installation

1. Output Shaft (Countershaft) Speed Sensor





1. Install the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor (A) with a new O-ring (B).

2. Connect the connector.

2. Front Engine Under Cover Plate





1. Install the front engine under cover plate (A).
