Catalytic Converter Removal and Installation

Removal

1. A/F Sensor (Sensor 1)





1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the A/F sensor (A).

2. Exhaust Chamber Cover (Natural Gas Model)





1. Remove the exhaust chamber cover (A).

3. Vehicle Lift

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.

4. Splash Shield

1. Remove the splash shield (A).





5. Engine Undercover





1. Remove the engine undercover (A).

6. Secondary HO2S





1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove secondary HO2S (A).

7. Catalytic Converter (Natural Gas Model)





1. Remove the catalytic converter (A).

2. Remove the catalytic converter cover (B).

Installation

1. Catalytic Converter (Natural Gas Model)





1. Install the catalytic converter cover (A).

2. Install the catalytic converter (B) with new gaskets (C).

2. Secondary HO2S





1. Install secondary HO2S (A).

2. Connect the connector.

3. Engine Undercover





1. Install the engine undercover (A).

4. Splash Shield

1. Install the splash shield (A).





5. Exhaust Chamber Cover (Natural Gas Model)





1. Install the exhaust chamber cover (A).

6. A/F Sensor (Sensor 1)





1. Install the A/F sensor (A).

2. Connect the connector.
