DTC Troubleshooting: B2091

DTC B2091:

Right Power Slide Motor Pulse (SLSE1/SLSE2) Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).

3. Turn the power sliding door main switch OFF and close the right power sliding door from the fully-opened position.

4. Turn the power sliding door main switch ON.

5. Open the right power sliding door with the power sliding door switch.

6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B2091 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 7.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the right power sliding door control unit.

7. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTCs B2081 and/or B2082 also indicated?

YES -

Troubleshoot DTCs B2081 B2081 and/or B2082 B2081.

NO -

Replace the right power sliding door control unit Service and Repair.
