The HFL digits do not go away from the audio display after pressing the BACK button

NOTE: Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.

1. Do the HFL Self-Diagnostic Function HandsFreeLink System Self-Diagnostic Function.

Do you hear, "The HFT is OK"?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Check for HFL DTCs; with navigation, without navigation.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

3. Substitute a known-good HandsFreeLink control unit Service and Repair, then turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

Are the messages cleared?

YES -

Replace the original HandsFreeLink control unit Service and Repair.

NO -

- With navigation, replace the navigation display unit Navigation Display Unit Removal/Installation.
- Without navigation, replace the audio display-USB adapter control unit Audio Display-USB Adapter Control Unit Removal/Installation.
