Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview




Rear Entertainment System Self-Diagnostic Function

The rear entertainment system has a self-diagnostic function that shows on the display. To run the self-diagnostic function, do the following:

NOTE:

- The wireless headphones LED blinks at one second intervals when in self-diagnostic function.
- While in self-diagnostic function, the headphone sound is intermittent.

How to Enter the Self-Diagnostic Function with the Audio Unit

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). Make sure the REAR POWER button to off.

2. To run the self-diagnosis, press and hold the REAR POWER button (A) for one second, then press it 3 more times within 3 seconds. On the last press, hold the REAR POWER button until the diagnostic screen appears.










How to Enter the Self-Diagnostic Function with the Wireless Remote Control

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. To run the self-diagnosis, press and release these buttons in this order:

- Ultrawide RES type: The SOURCE button, the SWAP button, the TUNE/SKIP () button, and then the SWAP button again. Press the buttons within 2 seconds of each other to start the self-diagnostic function.
- RES type: The DVD/AUX button, the FM/AM button, the TUNE/SKIP () button, and then the FM/AM button again. Press the buttons within 2 seconds of each other to start the self-diagnostic function.










Canceling the Self-Diagnostic Function

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) to cancel the self-diagnostic function. After completing the repair work, run the self-diagnostic function again to make sure that there are no other malfunctions.
