Front Seat Rail Replacement - Driver's Seat

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

Check the operation of the driver's seat position sensor after any of these actions Testing and Inspection after driver's seat position sensor replacement.

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the front seat Removal and Replacement.

2. Remove these items:

- Front seat belt buckle
- Front seat-back cover/pad Service and Repair
- Front seat cushion cover/pad Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
- Outer cover
- Upper rail inner cover
- Riser cover
- Recline inner cover/center inner cover
- Seat position sensor Service and Repair

3. Disconnect the slide motor connector (A), and detach the harness clips (B).






4. Remove the TORX bolts with a TORX T30 bit, then remove the seat rail (A) from the seat frame (B).






5. Install the seat rail in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Check the seat slide operation.
