Second Row Center Seat Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the second row center seat recline cover Second Row Center Seat Recline Cover Removal/Installation.

2. Separate the seat-back (A).

1. Remove the bolts (B) and the pivot bolt (C).

2. If necessary, remove the pivot bushing (D).





3. Remove the second row center seat-back cover Second Row Center Seat-Back Cover Replacement.

4. Remove the second row center seat cushion cover Second Row Center Seat Cushion Cover Replacement.

5. Detach the clips, then remove the recline inner cover (A) and the center inner cover (B).






6. If necessary, release the lock release strap (A) from its link (B).






7. Remove the center riser cover (A).

1. Remove the screws.

2. Pull out one side of the riser cover to release the hooks (B) and detach the clips.





8. From the back of the seat riser, remove the screws (A, B) and the dampers (C) on both sides.






9. Pull out one side of the side riser cover (A) to detach the clip, then remove the cover on both sides.






10. If necessary, remove the lock release cables (A).

1. Release the lock release cable fasteners (B), then disconnect the lock release cables.

2. Disconnect the lock release cables from the lock release strap link (C).





11. Remove the nuts (A), then disassemble the seat cushion frame (B) and the seat riser frame (C).





12. Remove the TORX bolts (D, E) with a TORX T40 bit, then disassemble the riser hooks (F) and the lock release link (G).

13. Remove the bolts (H), then disassemble the connecting pipe (I).

14. Release the push nuts (J), then remove the seat slide lever (K).

15. Reassemble the second row center seat in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
- Make sure each cable is connected securely.
