Radiator and A/C Condenser Fan, Motor, and Shroud Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the air intake scoop.

2. Remove the front bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.

3. Disconnect the A/C condenser fan motor connector (A), and coolant reservoir hose (B), then remove the coolant reservoir hose from the clamps (C).






4. Remove the radiator brackets (A) and the condenser brackets (B).





5. Remove the front grille bolts(C).

6. Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud assembly (A).






7. Disconnect the radiator fan motor connector (A) and remove the harness clamps (B).






8. Raise the vehicle on the lift.

9. Remove the splash shield Service and Repair.

10. Remove the ATF cooler hoses bracket bolt (A) and loosen the bolt (B).






11. Lower the vehicle on the lift.

12. With security system: Disconnect the hood latch switch connector (A).





13. Remove the hood latch (B) with the wire.

14. Remove the radiator fan shroud assembly (A).

NOTE: Pull-up the radiator, then move the radiator fan shroud assembly toward the right side of the vehicle to allow for enough space to lift it up and away from the A/C condenser fan shroud assembly.






15. Disassemble the fan shrouds.






Installation

1. Assemble the fan shrouds.






2. Install the radiator fan shroud assembly (A), then tighten the bolts (B).






3. Install the hood latch (A).





4. With security system: Connect the hood latch switch connector (B), then adjust the hood latch Adjustments.

5. Raise the vehicle on the lift.

6. Install the ATF cooler hoses bracket bolts (A).






7. Lower the vehicle on the lift.

8. Connect the radiator fan motor connector (A) and Install the harness clamps (B).






9. Install the A/C condenser fan shroud assembly (A), then tighten the bolts (B).






10. Install the front grille bolts (A).





11. Install the radiator brackets (B) and the A/C condenser brackets (C).

12. Connect the A/C condenser fan motor connector (A), and coolant reservoir hose (B), then install the coolant reservoir hose to the clamps (C).






13. Install the front bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.

14. Install the air intake scoop.
