VSA DTC Troubleshooting: 31-1, 32-1, 33-1, 34-1, 35-1, 36-1, 37-1, 38-1

DTC 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38:

ABS Solenoid

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 54 indicated with DTC 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, or 38 at the same time?

YES -

Do the troubleshooting for DTC 54 VSA System, and recheck.

NO -

Go to step 3.

3. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, or 38 indicated?

YES -

Replace the VSA modulator-control unit Service and Repair.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.
