Wiper Motor Test

1. Remove the wiper arms Service and Repair.

NOTE: Carefully remove the wiper arms so that they do not touch the hood.

2. Remove the hood seal and cowl cover Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the wiper motor (B).






4. Check motor operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.





5. Connect an analog voltmeter between terminals No. 1 (+) and No. 4 (-), and run the motor at low speed. The voltmeter should indicate 12 V and 4 V or less alternately.

6. If the motor does not work as specified, replace the wiper motor Service and Repair.
