Protector Replacement - Cargo Box

Removal Procedure

1. Open the spare tire carrier to the full open position.
2. Open the endgate.




3. Release the plastic retainer at the endgate side of the bed rail protector.
4. Remove the screws securing the cargo box rail to the body.
5. Remove the bed rail.
6. Release the retainer clips.
7. Lift and remove the cargo box rail protector.



Installation Procedure

1. Position the cargo box rail protector to the cargo box rail under the lower sail panel.
2. Secure the retainers into the body panel.




3. Secure the plastic retainer to the endgate side of the bed rail protector.
4. Position the cargo box rail to the cargo box protector.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

6. Close the endgate.
7. Latch and secure the spare tire carrier.
