Weatherstrip Replacement - Endgate

Removal Procedure

1. Swing the tire carrier fully outward.
2. Remove the endgate. Refer toEndgate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Loosen the cargo floor liner bolts in order to raise the rear of the floor liner from the endgate weatherstrip.




4. Remove the weatherstrip from the endgate opening pinch-weld flange.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the weatherstrip to one side of the pinch-weld flange at the underside of the cargo box rail protector.
2. Press the weatherstrip onto the pinch-weld flange and under the cargo floor liner.
3. Ensure the weatherstrip is securely attached to the opposite side under the cargo box rail protector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Secure the cargo floor liner bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

5. Install the endgate. Refer toEndgate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Latch and secure the spare tire carrier.
