Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators: Adjustments

STRIKER ADJUSTMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Loosen hinge screws holding compartment door to I/P.

2. Loosen screws/bolts holding striker assembly to I/P.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Align door assembly with striker assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

2. Tighten door assembly to I/P.
