Horn: Service and Repair

HORN REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the bolt (1) from the horn bracket.
4. Remove the horn from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Position the horn to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolt (1) to the horn bracket.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (3).
4. Close the hood.
