Transmission Mode Switch: Service and Repair



Tow/Haul Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel.





2. Remove the switch recepticle screws.





3. Pull the switch recepticle from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors from the switch.





4. Remove the switch from the recepticle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the switch to the recepticle.





2. Connect the electrical connector to the switch. Install the switch receptacle to the instrument panel.





3. Notice: Fastener Notice in Service Precautions

Install the switch recepticle screws.
^ Tighten the screws to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
4. Install the instrument panel trim plate bezel.
