GENERAL INFORMATION:

Please be advised that all 1994 model year Excels, Scoupes, and Elantras with factory installed air conditioning utilize R-134a refrigerant. All previous model years will continue to use R-12 refrigerant (commonly referred to as Freon(tm).

When using a DEALER INSTALLED air conditioning kit in 1994 models, make sure a R-134a A/C kit is used. The part numbers for these kits are as follows:

97600-23B00 Scoupe
97600-23B01 Scoupe
97600-24B30 Excel
97600-28B00 Elantra
97600-28B01 Elantra

NOTE:
The previously used R-12 kits are NOT compatible with 1994 Excels, Scoupes and Elantras.

WARRANTY CLAIMS LISTING R-12 REFRIGERANT OR R-12 RELATED COMPONENTS WILL NOT BE PAID ON 1994 EXCELS, SCOUPES AND ELANTRAS.
