Checking Steering Characteristics

Drive the vehicle at 0 - 80 km/h and check the following items.
1. Turn the steering wheel at 0 - 80 km/h and hold for 1 - 2 seconds then release it.
In this way, minimum vehicle speed that steering wheel returns within 20° from straight ahead position should be 35 km/h Max.
2. Steering wheel should be free from abnormal vibration.
3. Steering system should be free from squealing or hissing noise from gear box, pump or drive belt.
4. Steering operation should be smooth and free from catch.
