Inspect
    Suspension
      Check the suspension connections for looseness or damage. Retighten to the specified torque.
    Steering
      With the vehicle stopped and engine off, check for excessive free-play in the steering wheel. Check the linkage for bends or damage. Check the dust boots and ball joints for deterioration, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged parts.
    Power Steering Pump
      Inspect power steering pump and belt at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever occurs first.
    Power Steering Line/Hose
      Inspect power steering hoses and lines for leaks or damage at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first.
    Parking Brake System
      Check parking brake operation. Inspect the parking brake system including the parking brake lever and cables.
    Hose/Line HVAC
      Inspect the air conditioning lines and connections for leakage and damage at mileage interval or every 12 months, whichever occurs first.
    Heating and Air Conditioning
      Check A/C operation and performance. Inspect air conditioning operation and performance at mileage interval or every 12 months, whichever occurs first.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Inspect fuel lines, hoses and connections.
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Inspect fuel filler cap and filler neck at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first.
    Fluid - M/T
      Inspect oil level and condition at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first (if equipped).
    Fluid - A/T
      Inspect fluid level and condition at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
    Exhaust System
      Visually inspect the exhaust pipes, muffler and hangers for cracks, deterioration, or damage. Start the engine and listen carefully for any exhaust gas leakage. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary.
    Evaporative Emissions System
      Inspect the vehicle's vapor hoses.
    Drum Brake System
      Check lining for wear, automatic adjuster operation and drum condition. Check wheel cylinder boots leaks, cuts, tears or heat cracks. More frequent inspection may be necessary when driven in dusty or sandy conditions or mountainous terrain.
    Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints
      Check drive axles and CV joint boots for leakage or damage.
    Disc Brake System
      Check the pads for excessive wear, discs for run out and wear, and calipers for fluid leakage.
    Brake Hose/Line
      Visually check for proper installation, chafing, cracks, deterioration and any leakage. Replace any deteriorated or damaged parts immediately.
    Brake Fluid
      Perform at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first.
Replace
    Timing Belt
      Replace timing belt and at mileage interval or every 48 months, whichever comes first. For California vehicles, this maintenance is recommended but not required. Inspect all timing belt related components and replace as necessary.
    Spark Plug
      Platimum coated spark plugs. The manufacturer suggests this part be replaced more frequently if the vehicle idles for extensive periods or is used for towing.
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Replace engine oil filter at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
    Engine Oil
      Replace engine oil at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
    Drive Belt
      Replace at mileage interval or every 48 months, whichever comes first.
    Coolant
      Replace engine coolant at mileage interval or every 24 months, whichever comes first.
    Air Filter Element
      More frequent service may be required if driven in dusty or sandy conditions.
Rotate
    Tires
      Inspect for damage, proper inflation and uneven wear. Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
