Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

Thermostatic Switch (Thermistor)

1. Turn the blowr and A/C switches ON.
2. Start the engine.




3. With the thermostatic switch connector in coupled state, install a voltmeter between terminals 2 and 3 (-) and check whether there is a change in voltage between the terminals according to the termperature of the evaporator surface.
4. If above condition is not satisfied, remove the evaporator unit and replace the thermostatic switch.
