Steering Control Module: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in ON, battery voltage is applied from fuse 1 to the electronic power steering control module (EPSCM). The input current to the electronic power steering solenoid valve is varying according to the vehicle speed and is controlled by EPSCM. According to the input current, the EPS solenoid valve controls the flow of power steering oil.
