Replacement Procedure

PARTS REQUIRED

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

1. Open and secure hood.





2. Locate the bank 2 02 sensor (upstream). Remove the heat protector mounting bolts (3 each) to the bank 2 exhaust manifold.





3. Using a 22 mm wrench, remove the 02 sensor after disconnecting the sensor connector.

Install the new 02 sensor (P/N 39210-37165) and torque to 32 ft-lb. Reconnect the sensor connector.





4. Reinstall the removed heat protector.

5. Remove the air cleaner.





6. Locate the bank 1 02 sensor (upstream) connector and disconnect it.

7. Raise the vehicle.





8. Locate the bank 1 02 sensor (upstream). Remove the 02 sensor using a 22 mm wrench.

9. Install the new 02 sensor (P/N 39210-37125) and torque to 32 ft-lb.

10. Lower the vehicle. Reconnect the disconnected 02 sensor connector. Install the removed air cleaner.

11. Close the hood.
