DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin describes the changes to the engine management/engine electrical system for the 2004 MY Elantra (versus the 2003 MY Elantra).

The table lists the changes for the Non-SULEV Elantra

NOTE
The Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) emissions specification Elantra has not changed for the 2004 Model Year (versus the 2003).

The following is a list of components which have NOT changed from 2003 to 2004 Model Years for the Non-SULEV Elantra.

1. Spark Plugs (Platinum)

2. Fuel Injector

3. Catalytic Converter (integrated into the exhaust manifold assembly)

Please refer to TSB 03-36-014-01 for detailed information on some of the components described above.
