Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. Install the manifold gauge set.
2. Start the engine and turn the air conditioning switch ON.
3. Open the hand valves of the low pressure service port and the high pressure service port.
4. Check the pressure readings on the manifold gauge indicator.
5. For the continuity inspection, disconnect the connector of the triple pressure switch.
6. Check the continuity between the four terminals of the pressure switch. If defective, replace the pressure switch.
