Compressor Clutch Coil: Service and Repair
CLUTCH FIELD COILDISASSEMBLY 1.
Remove the clutch hub and pulley.
2.
Install a shaft protection tool at the compressor opening.
3.
Install the pulley on the compressor.
Place the puller screw end on the shaft arms center concave and the puller projection around the rear side of the field coil.
4.
Turn the puller screw using a wrench and remove the coil.
CAUTION: Do not use air tools.
