System Specifications
Cylinder HeadFirst loosen slightly and then tighten to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Cylinder head bolts cold [Engine temperature approximately 20°C (680F)] 105 - 115 Nm (1050 - 1150 kg-cm, 75 - 82 ft. lbs.)
Be sure to follow the specific torque sequence as shown in the illustration.

Exhaust valve seat ring hole diameter

Intake Manifold
Install the intake manifold and delivery pipe reversing the order of the removal procedure.
Tightening torque Intake manifold 12 - 15 Nm (120 - 150 kg-cm, 9 - 11 ft. lbs.)
Camshaft Bearing Cap
Tighten the bearing cap by 2 or 3 steps
Tightening Torque
Outer (a) 16 EA 19 - 20 Nm (190 - 21O kg-cm, 14 - 15 ft. lbs.)
Inner 24 EA 10 - 12 Nm (100 - 120 kg-cm, 7.4 - 8.8 ft. lbs.)
Camshaft Sprocket Bolt
Tightening Torque 80 - 100 Nm (800 - 1000 kg-cm, 60 - 74 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold
Install the exhaust manifold with gasket.
Tightening torque 40 - 45 Nm (400 - 450 kg-cm, 29 - 33 ft. lbs.)
