DESCRIPTION:
Communication lines exist between the engine control module (ECM), transaxle control module (TCM) and ABS module (if equipped). The communication is through a Control Area Network (CAN) which uses only two lines between each control module.
Several new diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) were established for some 2005 MY vehicles. These DTCs are shown with shop manual reference pages for your information.
