Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

EXHAUST MANIFOLD

REMOVAL

EXHAUST MANIFOLD





1. Remove the under cover (A).





2. Remove the front exhaust pipe (A).
3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.





4. Remove the heat protector (A).





5. Remove the exhaust manifold (A) and gasket (B).

INSTALLATION

EXHAUST MANIFOLD





1. Install the exhaust manifold (A) and gasket (B).
Tightening torque 30 - 35 Nm (300 - 350 kgf-cm, 22 - 26 ft. lbs.)





2. Install the heat protector (A).
Tightening torque 17 - 22 Nm (170 - 220 kgf-cm, 12 - 16 ft. lbs.)
3. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.





4. Install the front exhaust pipe (A).
Tightening torque 30 - 40 Nm (300 - 400 kgf-cm, 22 - 30 ft. lbs.)





5. Install the under cover (A).
