DESCRIPTION





Some Elantra vehicles may have a rattle/buzz/tapping noise from the accelerator cable. This noise is usually described as a body noise heard near the base of the windshield.

NOTE:
There are no operational issues associated with this condition.

AFFECTED VEHICLES
^ 2007 Elantra vehicles built after January 29, 2007.
^ 2008 Elantra vehicles built before November 25, 2007.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





1. Locate the unused plastic clip located behind the engine on the bulkhead.





2. Snap the accelerator cable into the clip.
