IMPORTANT:
DEALERS MUST PERFORM THIS CAMPAIGN ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES PRIOR TO CUSTOMER RETAIL DELIVERY AND WHENEVER AN AFFECTED VEHICLE IS IN THE SHOP FOR ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR.
IMPORTANT:
WHEN A VEHICLE ARRIVES AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, ACCESS HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA'S "WARRANTY VEHICLE INFORMATION" SCREEN VIA DCS ON-LINE TO IDENTIFY OPEN CAMPAIGNS.
DESCRIPTION:
Some 2007 MY Entourage vehicles equipped with the Power Tailgate feature may not have the sensor strips securely attached to the carrier assembly. If the sensor strip is not at its proper position in relation to the carrier, then the power tailgate may not close properly. Follow the procedure outlined in this bulletin to attach the power tailgate sensor strip to specification.
AFFECTED VEHICLES:
^ Model: 2007 Entourage (EP) vehicles equipped with the Power Tailgate feature.
^ Production range: Start of production through June 30, 2006.
Consult the open campaign screen to verify if the vehicle is included in the campaign.
PARTS REQUIRED:
An initial shipment of one Tailgate Weatherstrip Campaign Kit (P/N 00737-00000) has been provided to each dealership.
Each repair kit includes the contents shown to repair five (5) vehicles applicable to this bulletin.
