IMPORTANT:
DEALERS MUST PERFORM THIS CAMPAIGN ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES PRIOR TO CUSTOMER RETAIL DELIVERY AND WHENEVER AN AFFECTED VEHICLE IS IN THE SHOP FOR ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR.

IMPORTANT:
WHEN A VEHICLE ARRIVES AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, ACCESS HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA'S "WARRANTY VEHICLE INFORMATION" SCREEN VIA DCS ON-LINE TO IDENTIFY OPEN CAMPAIGNS.

DESCRIPTION:

Some 2007 MY Entourage power sliding door sub-control buttons in the Rear Door Power Window Switch Assemblies may not release after being depressed.

This bulletin provides the procedure to replace the Rear Door Power Window Switch Assemblies on the left and right center pillar trim.

PARTS REQUIRED

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Record the radio station presets and disconnect the vehicle negative battery cable from the battery.

2. Open the left sliding door.





3. Using a small flat head screwdriver, carefully remove the Rear Door Power Window Switch Assembly at the left center pillar trim.

CAUTION:
When removing the switch, be careful not to scratch or damage the center pillar trim.





4. Unplug the connector at the back of the Rear Door Power Window Switch.

5. Install the new Rear Door Power Window Switch.

6. Repeat procedure for the right Rear Door Power Window Switch Assembly.





7. Connect the battery negative terminal and check if each power sliding door sub-control button operates properly.

a. Turn on the ignition switch.

b. Ensure the power button (PWR) at the overhead console is ON (depressed).





c. Check if the left and right power sliding doors open and close properly by pressing each power sliding door sub-control button and verify that the button releases automatically and smoothly.

8. Reprogram the radio stations and reset the clock.
