Hood Latch Release: Service and Repair

HOOD RELEASE HANDLE REPLACEMENT

1. Fit the 8 mm socket (A) into the clip (B) of hood release handle and insert the flat blade screwdriver (D) into the gap between the lower panel and the hood release handle.






2. Pry off the handle (C) with the clip (B) depressed by using 8 mm socket to remove it.
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the hood latch cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the hood locks securely.
