Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

INTAKE MANIFOLD

COMPONENTS:

REMOVAL

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Disconnect the TPS connector(A) and ISA connector(B).





3. Remove the PCV hose(A) and breather hose(B).





4. Remove the accelerator cable by loosening the lock-nut, then slip the cable end out of the throttle linkage.
5. Remove the delivery pipe(A).





6. Remove the water hoses(A), PCSV(B), and brake vacuum hose(C).





7. Remove the intake manifold stay(A).





8. Remove the intake manifold.





9. To install, reverse the removal procedure with new gasket.
