Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor: Testing and Inspection
G SENSORCOMPONENTS:
INSPECTION 1.
Connect a tester to both 2 and 3 terminals of the G sensor.
2.
Measure the output voltage when IGN is on.
Specification:
2.5 Volts 3.
Measure the output voltage between 2 and 3 terminals, posing the arrow mark on the G sensor downward.
Specification:
3.5 Volts 4.
Replace the G sensor if the output voltage is not on the specification.
