Fuel Level Sensor: Service and Repair

SUB FUEL SENDER

REMOVAL
1. Preparation
1. Remove the Service Cover (A) in the trunk.






2. Disconnect the Fuel Pump Connector (A).






3. Start the engine and wait until fuel in fuel fine is exhausted.
4. After the engine stalls, turn the ignition switch OFF.

2. Remove the Service Cover (A) in the tank.






3. Disconnect Sub Fuel Sender Connector (A) and Suction Tube Quick-Connector (B).






4. Unfasten the Sub Fuel Sender mounting bolts (C) and remove the Sub Fuel Sender.






INSTALLATION

1. Install the Sub Fuel Sender according to the reverse order of "REMOVAL" procedure.

Tightening Torque : 2.0 - 2.9 Nm (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.4 - 2.2 lbf.ft)
