Fog/Driving Lamp: Testing and Inspection





Inspection

Front Fog Lamp Switch
1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the crash pad side switch (A) by using the scraper (B) and then disconnect the connectors. Take care of fixing clips.




3. Remove the front fog lamp switch (C) from crash pad side switch.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





Front Fog Lamp Relay
1. Pull out the front fog lamp (A) relay from the junction box.
2. Check for continuity between terminals. There should be continuity between the No.1 and No.2 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.3 and No.4 terminals.
3. There should be no continuity between the No.1 and No.2 terminals when power is disconnected.
